With every passing scrimmage we're getting closer to the regular season. This one will be the last for the Habs, they'll switch gears tomorrow and face the Bruins in their first pre-season game.

As for tonight, we have a few interesting line combinations to watch for. Even though Michel Therrien has said nothing is set it stone, it seems as if Montreal's first line will be made up of Max Pacioretty, David Desharnais and newcomer PA Parenteau. They've been playing together since the first scrimmage, and even though it's not NHL action, they've definitely shown some encouraging signs of chemistry. The rest of the red team is primarily composed of rookies fighting for spot on the team, headlined by Sven Andrighetto, Jacob de la Rose and Charles Hudon.

A brand new version of the Kid Line will lead the charge for the white team, as first-round pick Nikita Scherbak will join Alex Galchenyuk and Brendan Gallagher. Tomas Plekanec will once gain play alongside countryman Jiri Sekac, this time joined by Travis Moen on the left. The Habs' projected fourth line will continue to play together, composed of Brandon Prust, Manny Malhotra and Dale Weise.

As for the defense, it seems as if we're starting to get an idea of what Michel Therrien's pairings might look like come October 8th.  PK Subban will be paired with Alexei Emelin, Nathan Beaulieu with Mike Weaver, and Andrei Markov with Tom Gilbert.

The goaltending responsibilities will be split among Carey Price, Zachary Fucale, Peter Budaj and Mike Condon. Surprisingly, Dustin Tokarski was left off either team.

Puck drop is at 7 PM EST.
