Canadiens vs Bruins game 4 thread

New, comments

Canadiens look to go up 3-1 in the series tonight as Game 4 sees the Bruins make some serious line changes... or not.

Lots of changes? No changes? A little bit of the same?

Claude Julien started off today by making all kinds of whacky changes to his lines in the morning skate. He had Lyndon Byers skating alongside Patrice Bergeron and Greg Hawgood, he had Krejci between Nevin Markwart and Petri Skriko, and Ken Hodge Jr. centered a line of Marchand, Hodge, and Jeff Lazaro. Everyone had some good chuckles because none of it was for real and Julien revealed that they were just having fun in practice. Everyone that is save Carl Soderberg, who used his option and sat out the skate, and Justin Florek who went down to Providence. Julien says that Soderberg will be available tonight. Florek's spot will be taken by call-up, Matt Fraser. Who knows what lineup the Bruins will ice? All signs point to it essentially being the same as Tuesday, though the lines may be altered - or they may not. It's just fun y'know?

Michel Therrien looks to make no changes and ice the same lineup as Tuesday. That means more Douglas Murray. Is that a smart move?

The Leafs tried really hard to get involved in this whole change thing that was going on, but they didn't really get the hang of it - extending Randy Carlyle, but firing all his assistants.

Also how about that Joe Haggerty-Kirk Minihane feud (and that Haggs column)? What a fun day!
