Canadiens vs Bruins 2014 playoffs game 2 thread

Playoff juggernaut Canadiens try to stay undefeated as game 2 looms in Beantown

Jared Wickerham

If you listen to Boston fans you hear, "Montreal is toast if the Bruins keep playing like they did in game 1 for the rest of the series."

If you listen to Montreal fans you hear, "Boston is toast if the Price and PK keep winning like they did in game 1 for the rest of the series."

Something's got to give. The optimist in me seems to believe that Bruins can't sending wave after wave of Black and Gold shooters at the Price and the Habs can't simply base their attack around Eller, Bourque, Subban, and a horseshoe. Expect some changes with Travis Moen sitting and Michael Bournival back in the lineup. Should help the Habs forecheck.

And while some Bruins fans would love to see Matt Barkowksi sit this one out after a poor Game 1 showing, Julien sticks with the same lineup for Game 2 - and why not? The Bruins were decidedly 'ok' in Game 1.

UPDATE: Boom! Julien blows that away - Meszaros and Caron in, Bartkowski and Florek out.
