Canadiens vs Rangers Overtime Thread

New, comments

Canadiens have Rangers and the King on the ropes, but Kreider sends it to overtime in the last 30 seconds. 2-2 after regulation play

Al Bello

Hands up if you had even thought of Chris Kreider prior to this series. You're a liar.

For a little bit there it looked like everyone was doing what they were supposed to. Daniel Briere was scoring key goals, Andrei Markov was being a veteran presence, Dustin Tokarski was stopping everything, and then...everyone's collective stomachs ended up dropping out.

With less than 30 seconds left Chris Kreider tips it in and sends it to OT. To be fair, Emelin helped him out a fair bit too. Regardless, Kreider has not been kind to our goalies. After that, all seemed lost.

But hold on there, the Canadiens are going to overtime, they've got this. Playoff overtime, how much better could it get right?

Who are your OT picks?
