Montreal Canadiens News
- P.K. Subban doesn't give a damn if opposing fans hate him. It fuels his fire.
- There will be a Habs flag flying over City Hall in Boston for a week. Thank you Mayor Coderre!
- Chris Johnston reported on Montreal's win, stating that they finally earned the respect they deserve. (*The word respect is quickly becoming the new 'class' when it comes to hockey buzzwords, sadly)
- A bar owner in Montreal is not pleased that the Bell Centre served alcohol during the game 7 viewing party.
- Speaking of the viewing party, here's the last minute of play and the consequent reaction from the sold out crowd.
- One Habs fan had a bad experience in Boston. Although his story doesn't add up. I doubt anyone held a beer for an entire period just to dump it on his girlfriend, and if they did happen to go through that trouble I'm fairly certain he would have noticed at the time, and not have to be told afterwards.
- Zdeno Chara was fairly bad in the last few games of the series, nursing a fractured finger probably didn't help. It doesn't explain why he was falling on his ass all series though.
- The reaction to Milan Lucic's stupidity wasn't exactly positive in Boston.
- Here's a good reminder that it's rarely a good idea to bet against Carey Price in an elimination game.
- Lars Eller told his father that the Habs were going to "run them out" (the Bruins) after the game 5 loss. Good call Lars.
- Dale Weise is playing great hockey right now, ridiculously good.
- He's also a good guy, check out this picture of him making a young Bruins fans' day.
- Daniel Briere was mic'd up during the handshake, and absolutely nothing outrageous happened.
- Remember the classic Habs blog 4 Habs Fans? Some of those guys are still active, and one had an inside source on Milan Lucic's handshake line.
- Remember all the stories about police preparing for possible riots in Montreal following game 7? Here are all the articles describing such incidents:

- Zenon Konopka has tested positive for performance enhancing drugs, and will be suspended for 20 games.
- Adam Gretz ponders how do the Pittsburgh Penguins fix what's broken?
- The Canadian Prime Minister inadvertently fired shots at Leafs and Canucks fans whilst complimenting the Habs on their series victory.
