Twenty minutes away from Game 7 as the Canadiens jump out to a 3-0 lead as the Habs top line pokes the bear and then some...

Andre Ringuette

Holy shit that Pacioretty goal! (And from a Beaulieu pass no less)

That Vanek goal! (which would not have happened had Pacioretty not played the puck so well with his feet)

This is the game the Habs needed to deliver - the "bounce back" game that Tim Wharnsby said that Price needed to have (I kid). The penalty kill has been solid, one of the weakest aspects of the Habs' game in Game 6 has become a strength. Chances have come and the Habs have played a strong, strong game with lots of jump.

And how relieved are fans - they have proof that Bournival and Beaulieu belong in the lineup. Going forward it will be much harder justifying turning over their spots to lead footed veterans who bring a size element to the lineup.

This is the game we needed.
