Canadiens vs Bruins Game 6 Thread

New, comments

This is it! Game six finds the Canadiens desperately needing a win in order to stay alive. Nathan Beaulieu is expected to make his playoff debut.

Bruce Bennett

In honour of Shawn Thornton's 100th career playoff game, the Bell Centre has a water bottle giveaway promotion to the first 2,820 and a half fans who come through the doors tonight.

Boston is expected to return to Montreal with the same lineup as Saturday night. The only possible changes would be on defense at this point, Bartkowski or Meszaros (a question akin to RC Cola or Big 8). Dennis Seidenberg has been cleared for light contact in practice. We will not be seeing him in tonight's game. The odds are also low that we will see him in game 7. Aside from defense, I don't expect the Bruins lineup to change very much. No matter how many wacky combinations Julien unveils at practice.

The Canadiens' lineup on the other hand...

Let's get it out of the way to anyone asking, Galchenyuk is not ready. He's still skating alone.

Reports from the Habs optional morning skate seem to indicate that Nathan Beaulieu might be dressing tonight:

Basically the rule of thumb is that the players who are left on the ice at the end of a game day skate are the ones not dressing tonight. What we can infer from the Lavoie's tweet is that Beaulieu, Prust, and Briere will all dress. However, this is not set in stone and could be totally incorrect.

I'll keep updating the lineup as I hear more. UPDATE: Nathan Beaulieu is playing tonight.

I challenge all Murray haters to respond to the logic of this tweet:

Clearly you can't.
