So what we can conclude is that the Canadiens hate mothers.
Going forward in this game, I'd like to see something that encourages me that the Habs can put forth a decent effort in Game 6. And just as I typed that Gallagher and Plekanec team up on a goal. Being down by 2 going into the third is a lot better than being down by 3. But being down by 1 is even better. Math is fun.
Therrien made some bad lineup decisions. I don't know if Briere would have messed up that penalty kill faceoff the same way Prust did, but I do know that Prust didn't have much business being out there. He has not been playing like a guy who is 100% and he's been lacklustre on the penalty kill. Sending him back out is tempting fate and bit Therrien. So yeah, Therrien made some bad choicss, but where would the Canadiens be if Pacioretty and Vanek were producing? The Canadiens' top line has not been the Canadiens' best line in either this series or the TB series. Is that entirely Therrien's fault?
Soderberg, I curse thy name.
