Same result as last night after one period of play, but a distinctly differently feeling as the Canadiens came out flat against a team featuring 11 rookies in its line-up. I almost wrote 100 rookies there and that's sort of what it feels like except not at all because the Canadiens are playing pretty... slow. But what can be expected with a team that is dressing both George Parros and Douglas Murray? They're going to come off flat. I have to wonder if the Canadiens would have been better off with the slick skating Beaulieu in the line-up. A few more rookies wouldn't kill the Canadiens and it might get some young players some necessary experience.
And you know what? I really just want to see a game where the Habs pad their stats. C'maaan hockey gods give it to us.
