The biggest news from yesterday in Montreal is the acquisition of noted Habs killer Thomas Vanek in a steal of a trade.

The Habs also acquired former Oiler and Predator Devan Dubnyk who was assigned to the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs.

In more sobering news Habs prospect Tim Bozon is listed in critical condition due to an ongoing battle with a severe case of meningitis.
