Canadiens vs Sabres game thread

Montreal looks to build on it's emotional win versus the Bruins.

Coming off their tough win versus the Bruins, the Habs will face the eternally struggling Sabres tonight in what will probably end up being a huge emotional let down compared to last night's game.

There will be a few roster changes tonight, especially due to the injuries that both Travis Moen and Dale Weise received last night. Lars Eller is expected to slot back into the lineup, and it was announced that Jarred Tinordi will take over Francis Bouillon's place. Ryan White also gets the call, due to the aforementioned injuries.

Matt Hackett gets the start for the Sabres, only his second in a Buffalo uniform. If that name sounds familiar, it's because Matt is former Habs goalie Jeff Hackett's nephew.

Buffalo's numbers this year are appalling, and they were flat out dominated the last time they faced the Habs. For Montreal's sake let's hope the trend continues.
