Canadiens vs Maple Leafs game thread

The Habs face the Leafs, as both teams jockey for playoff positioning.

Michel Therrien has decided to sit rookie Jarred Tinordi after his gaffe against the Blue Jackets. This is yet another one of his patented moves to instill confidence in young players that we've seen from the coach.

There is however some good news, as the Habs practiced with Alex Galchenyuk at centre, albeit with Rene Bourque on his wing. Therrien has maintained that Galchenyuk might not actually start the game down the middle, so we'll have to keep an eye on the game time lineups.

Bourque will slot into the lineup at the expense of Ryan White, and Francis Bouillon will continue to receive top pairing minutes alongside P.K. Subban. Because....Therrien.

James Reimer is expected to get the start for the Leafs, as Jonathan Bernier continues to recover from a groin injury. David Bolland should be in the lineup for the first time since the season threatening injury that forced him to miss 56 games.
