Canadiens vs Senators Game Thread

Never forget that Karlsson sucks, but then again so do the Senators and Habs on most nights.

USA TODAY Sports

The Habs and Sens will clash for the fourth time this year, in a match up of two struggling teams.

Montreal is struggling to score goals, with only three in their past three games to show for their efforts. This drought has brought on some changes, as Michel Therrien has opted to reunite the kid line, play Thomas Vanek with Max Pacioretty and David Desharnais, and return Daniel Brière to Tomas Plekanec's wing. All three of those lines have been successful in the past, and the Habs will hope to cash in on some previously established chemistry.

The Senators are in a tailspin of their own, allowing almost 30 goals in their last 7 games. For a team pegged as a defensive stalwart in the off-season Ottawa sure is allowing a ton of goals. Tonight will be a perfect opportunity for the Habs' offensive woes to end.

Carey Price will get the start, as he practiced with the team several times this week, and took part in a full practice this morning ahead of the game. For the sake of every single Habs fan around the world, let's hope he's ready to go, and not being rushed.

Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST.
