Around The NHL

The NHL GMs are currently meeting in Boca Raton to discuss possible rule changes for the league. Both Justin Bourne and JP Nikota have some suggestions for them.

Darryl Sutter had some awesome quotes yesterday about how the game is changing, and how actually "playing defense" is no longer as important as it once was. The game is about possession. You know, all that stuff analytics folk have been saying for years now. Great to see some coaches catching on.

John Fontana has some thoughts on the end of an era for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
