Canadiens vs Hurricanes: Game Thread

Montreal looks to make it 3 wins in a row, whereas Carolina aims to bring themselves closer to a playoff spot.

USA TODAY Sports

Carolina and Montreal will meet for the third and final time this year, with both teams having won a game in the previous two meetings.

Carolina is on a hot streak, going 7-3 in their last 10 games, whereas Montreal has relied on Carey Price to win their last two games.

Price is not only on fire, he's basically human lava. His .972 save percentage in the last two wins is encouraging for the netminder, however it's worrisome for the team, as it's absolutely impossible for Price to maintain that type of save percentage, no matter how good he is.

If Montreal looks to hold onto their playoff spot they'll need sustained scoring (from someone other than Pacioretty) & sturdy denfence, two things they've lacked for months now.

At the moment John-Michael Liles is a game time decision, if he's unable to go it's expected that former All-Star (bahahaha) Mike Komisarek will take his spot.

George Parros practiced with the 4th line, however Michel Therrien declared that long-time healthy scratch Francis Bouillon would be dressing, which means Montreal will go with 7 D tonight.
