It took the Canadiens longer than 19 seconds to have some eggs broken. Michal Rozsival, of all people, scored his first of the year. Rozsival scored 2 goals in his last 139 games. So if you were looking for Blackhawk least likely to score against an NHL team, he used to be a good choice.
I saw the Habs chasing the puck on their first PP of the game and I saw the Hawks setting up shop like they were on the PP when they weren't. Not a lot looking great with the Habs currently. Price has been consistently above average, the third line has been solid, I've been enjoying Prust, but as a whole not a team that inspires me with confidence. Especially against a team that is well-coached like Chicago.
Ben Smith scored late in the first and my spirits were low, but then Gallagher charged right back and scored his 7th of the season against Raanta and it stopped me from going on a Raanta of my own. There is something about a Gallagher goal that really can ignite good feelings. And hey the Habs are only 5 shots away from tying their total against Minnesota.
I am fairly confident however that we will get fisticuffs at some point during this game and I assume it will involved Prust and Carcillo.
