Canadiens vs Ducks game thread

Habs honour Saku Koivu as the only two NHL franchises he has ever known, Ducks and Canadiens, clash in Montreal.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Habs honour long time captain Saku Koivu tonight as they play host to the Finn's only other NHL team the Anaheim Ducks. Koivu meant a heckuva lot to the team, organization, and to the city as he held the torch proudly during some dark times in Montreal. Resiliency, graciousness, and inner strength were his hallmarks. It wasn't a historic period for the Canadiens, but they had a captain who will be have a place in the annals of their history.

Eller is a game time decision and Weaver and Allen are still not ready. Andrighetto is down with Hamilton, Tangradi is up. New look lines are posted below.

Emerson Etem is in for Kyle Pamieri. Perry and Beauchemin are still out. The Ducks' D is pieced together with band aids, duct tape, and a healthy dose of the amazing Sami Vatanen.

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM ET (9 PM in Newfoundland). You can watch:
