Canadiens vs Wild second period thread

"Ou est la rondelle? Ou est la rondelle?!?" is a frightening phrase to hear, even moreso when your team isn't a particularly offensive one. Thankfully "Dessous Carey Price" is usually the answer. Goddamn he is stopping a lot of rubber. Bob Cole talked about Price's struggles in his last 3 games and while I agree that Price was the losing goalie of record, he certainly wasn't the one to shoulder the blame in those losses.

Beautiful pre-game ceremony and in the time that passed from the end of the ceremony to the start of the game we could have watched the entire career of another Hall of Fame defense develop, prosper, recede, and retire. It was a long break.

The Habs seem to be having lots of troubles with good teams, trouble with mediocre teams, and just scraping by with terrible teams. Not a particularly impressive first period and Price is the only reason this game is 0-0 instead of 2-0 or 3-0. Don't look at the fancy stats.
