You'd think that with Gallagher's contract extension, he'd be able to buy a goal... but he doesn't need to cuz our little buddy very clearly earned that goal. It was touch and go there for a bit, but the truth won out. Gallagher notched his sixth to celebrate his six year extension. And he spread the wealth! Bryan Allen and Alex Galchenyuk both picked up assists - Allen with his first of many points in a Canadiens' uniform.
The Habs stuck it to the Sabres in the second, but a man named Enron or something denied the Habs and kept the Sabres a little bit farther away from Connor McDavid than they wanted to be.
A much better effort from the Habs in the second. Definitely enough to keep me watching this game. Sometimes I wish they'd just play Subban and Markov for forty minutes and give the rest of the guys the scraps.
