Above photo did not happen in this game... yet.
1. Jiri Sekac is pretty good.
2. This broadcast team isn't. I'm not sure if it's my stream, my stereo, or what, but it sounds like I am watching this game in movie theatre from the 80s. Aside from that this commentary and play-by-play is sub optimal. How does Sportsnet trot out this team for a pretty marquee match-up? Seriously coupled with Brad May's analysis this feels like a slight step above public access television.
3. Beau Bennett and Steve Downie. Two guys I would have never predicted would have the first goals in this game. Steve Downie as the answer to "Which Penguin is most likely to commit a felony?" Sure! "Most likely to score against the Habs in the first period?" Not so much.
4. Drayson Bowman. What could have been if not for that damn whistle!
