I feel that was the most eventful 5 minutes to start a period that Montreal has experienced this season. Max Pacioretty came out flying and Dale Weise came out with a death rattle. A death rattle that Gregory Campbell immediately objected to, "You're not dying on meeeeee!" So the two gentlemen engaged in fisticuffs.
The first period also featured things like Sergei Gonchar being the second leading Montreal D in ice time and Nathan Beaulieu seeing under two minutes of ice.
I said this in the playoffs but I'm not sure how an adult human who is not Doug Mirabelli ("Dougie's going deep tonight") allows himself to be called "Dougie". A stupid jerk goal by a jerk named Dougie. Couldn't even win a gold medal. The Habs couldn't even last 4 seconds.
Oh and I had a delicious buttermilk waffle sandwich.
