I'm a huge Mickey Redmond fan so the fact that I now see fewer Canadiens games on my cable package (instead of the more I'd thought I'd see) makes me a little happy because I get to search out US feeds and hear guys like Mickey Redmond or the guy who says Ellah on NESN.
Any Canadiens game that starts with a scoreless 1st period is uncharted territory. We haven't been here before. Where going where no one has gone before and I'm ok with that.
Some nice effort from the Habs late in the period, but it amounts to nothing. Surprising that this game isn't more high scoring even taking into account the fact that the Wings have been very good at preventing goals lately.
Pretty sure the Wings were my first (possibly second) game thread and they're my dad's favorite team so this is always a special match-up for me.
