Not exactly the way the Canadiens wanted to start this game, first third of this period was an absolute mess, the 5 on 3 was not a thing of beauty with the Habs giving up a very solid scoring chance, and City TV is so oblivious that they still think that Patches is looking for his first goal of the season, despite scoring the VERY FIRST GOAL OF THE SEASON. What is this? Total Recall? Is City TV trying to steal my memories?
This has not been a good period for the Habs and coupled with some strong play from the Flyers - namely Wayne Simmonds, it's broken a few hearts on EOTP.
Do not fret - another period looms and I promise 3 is still the magic number. And I don't mean for Flyers goals - that's like 4.
