Canadiens vs Flyers game thread

Is 3 the magic number for the Habs? The Canadiens cruise into Philly looking for their third win on the road to start the season against the 0-2 Flyers.

Bruce Bennett

I went from Toronto where I saw the ACC quickly deflate with 40 seconds left to play (and twisted my ankle) to Halifax where I drove home from the airport and heard Dan Robertson call Gallagher's shootout goal to Cape Breton where I am celebrating Thanksgiving and Gobblefest and hopefully watching a Canadiens win on City TV (previously my go-to for watching Community reruns).

It's frustrating to see your team to start four in a row on the road, but it's not so bad if your team plays at .750 or 1.000 clip on that swing. I'm not taking Philly lightly, but I definitely do not view this team as being as strong as an opponent as years past. But if you're looking for a pick for a player to watch -  former Moosehead Jakub Voracek is 3-10-13 in 13 career games vs Canadiens. The Kladno native is one of those guys I've constantly been waiting on to kick it up a notch and the last two years have looked like he's inches away from being an elite talent.

Jarred Tinordi enters the lineup tonight, skating alongside Subban. I am hoping this is just a thing of pure beauty, but if not I'll content myself with the Gilbert-Markov pairing - thought they played well in Toronto and loved seeing so much of them.

Travis Moen draws back into the lineup while Weise Moen and Bournival sit.

My first game thread of 2014-2015, go easy on me and let's have some fun!
