Canadiens vs Blackhawks second period thread

The Hawks took it to the Habs in the first, but the score remains tied.

Jonathan Daniel

The veteran Hawks lineup was all over the Habs this period, which was fairly predictable when looking at the lineups. On the bright side, Carey Price is looking like his regular dominant self, as evidenced by his huge stop on Duncan Keith.

Nathan Beaulieu continues to bring mobility to the blueline, and it's quickly becoming apparent that he's the best candidate for the open spot on defense.

Christian Thomas continues to play like a mad man, making a case to be the first call up once injuries inevitably hit the team.  Let's hope for a better showing from the kids in the second.
