Montreal Canadiens vs Carolina Hurricanes: Game Thread

New, comments

Can the Habs rebound at home? Somehow I doubt it, but I have to watch the game anyway.

Montreal looks to rebound after a gross effort against Washington.

In their last meeting the Canadiens blew a 3 goal lead, eventually losing 5-4 in overtime, and things have only gotten worse since then for Montreal.

Louis Leblanc is sick, and instead of calling up someone who could play hockey after deciding to send him back down to Hamilton, the Canadiens decided that it made sense to dress Parros again, against a team that has already traded away Gleason and Westgarth. Okay.

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM at the Bell Centre.

Here are your projected lineups:

Montreal Canadiens Prospective Lineup
Left Wing Center Right Wing
Lars Eller Tomas Plekanec Brian Gionta
Max Pacioretty David Desharnais Brendan Gallagher

Goaltenders
Carey Price
Peter Budaj

Scratches: Raphael Diaz, Francis Bouillon.

Injuries: Davis Drewiske (shoulder surgery, practicing), Alex Galchenyuk (wrist, 3-4 weeks), Ryan White (shoulder, 1-2 weeks).
