According to this Sportsnet.ca article, the Canadiens players are publicly standing behind their coach. Unclear whether they do so privately, as their play begs the question.

Meanwhile, Ryan Lambert weighs in on Therrien.

There were conflicting reports on Monday about a potential trade that would send Rene Bourque to the Avalanche in exchange for P.A. Parenteau. First, TVA Sports reported that Marc Bergevin had turned down this trade, which seems implausible, but then it emerged that it may have been the other way around, which makes more sense. You never know with rumors, but it seems like at the very least there has been serious discussion about a potential trade. Andrew writes about the possibility here, and whether or not it's a fit. We'll see if anything materializes.
