Bruins vs Senators - Game Thread

In an unusual turn of events, we'll be covering the final game of the NHL season even though it doesn't involve the Habs directly.

USA TODAY Sports

The last game of the season is between divisional rivals for the Montreal Canadiens. The Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators will decide the Habs' playoff seeding tonight.

If the Senators win in regulation, overtime, or shootout, Erik Karlsson and company will face the Canadiens in the first round of the playoffs in a 2 vs 7 matchup. If they lose in regulation, the Habs will drop to 4th place and take on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

If the Senators lose in overtime or in a shootout, they will leapfrog the New York Islanders for 7th place due to winning the season series 2-0-1, and take on Patrice Bergeron and the Bruins in the first round.

Meanwhile, EOTP will be recording a podcast summing up the season and talking playoffs.
