2ND PERIOD

01:31 TBL TEDDY PURCELL : HOOKING - 2 MIN (P.K. SUBBAN)

08:46 TBL RYAN MALONE : SLASHING - 2 MIN (BRIAN GIONTA)

15:54 MTL P.K. SUBBAN : INTERFERENCE - 2 MIN (MARTIN ST LOUIS)

Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes the refs try to ruin it for you anyway. The Habs have been lucky tonight, make no mistake. They rallied around it in the second though, and dominated Tampa Bay to build a two goal lead.

But with two straight penalties in favour of the Habs, apparently Martin St. Louis skating into P.K. Subban is a penalty. Combine that with Francis Bouillon in complete no-man's land and Davis Drewiske being ineffective, and it's only a 1 goal lead.

The Lightning seemed to be sparked by the goal, as they nearly evened the shot disparity in the final minute of play of the period.
