At this point, having seen this exact script play out for 5 years running, I have nothing left but bloodlust.
This Sabres team isn't even good enough for the AHL, yet somehow they get all this bullshit luck against the Canadiens.
Part of that is officiating. The Canadiens have owned the Sabres to a completely absurd extent in this game, with Buffalo relying on hooking and holding to prevent chances. Yet what are the penalties at? Buffalo 2, Montreal 3. How on earth do you take more penalties than the other team when you own the puck 76.3% of the time at even strength? Bullshit, that's how.
Boston is still the most hated team in the realm of Habs fandom, but if Boston is evil incarnate, Buffalo is a swarm of flesh eating insects.
