Team Canada 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics - EOTP picks the roster

Awhile ago Bruce Peter began gathering everyone's opinions around SB Nation to pick the Canadian and American Olympic men's hockey teams for Sochi's winter Olympics in 2014.

3 years ago, Steve Yzerman assembled the Canadian team that brought home gold on home soil in Vancouver, can he do it again? Let's give him a hand that he will obviously ignore because why would he listen to us?

Here is the team that I chose for Canada in 2014

Forwards

John Tavares - Sidney Crosby - Steven Stamkos

Taylor Hall - Claude Giroux - Corey Perry

Eric Staal - Jonathan Toews - Tyler Seguin

Jamie Benn - Patrice Bergeron - Rick Nash

James Neal

Defensemen

P.K. Subban - Drew Doughty

Duncan Keith - Shea Weber

Alex Pietrangelo - Kris Letang

Brent Seabrook

Goaltenders

Carey Price

Cam Ward

Roberto Luongo

Obviously for this to work, Subban or Doughty has to play on the left side instead of the right, but odds are one of the two will be able to adjust, they're just too talented not to. The two of them together would be deadly in my opinion.

Along with Subban, I believe Carey Price is the unquestionable starter on this team.
