Canadiens vs Wild - Third Period Thread

The story is much the same as it was against Dallas, only without getting any breaks.

SCORING SUMMARY

1ST PERIOD

05:45 MIN Justin Fontaine (4) Deflected shot - ASST: Keith Ballard (2), Torrey Mitchell (2) 1 - 0 MIN

06:10 MTL Brendan Gallagher (6) Deflected shot - ASST: Alex Galchenyuk (8), Andrei Markov (5) 1 - 1 Tie

2ND PERIOD

08:41 MIN Jason Pominville (8) Wrist shot - ASST: Mikael Granlund (9) 2 - 1 MIN

PENALTY SUMMARY

1ST PERIOD

09:28 MTL Rene Bourque Slashing - 2 min against Justin Fontaine

2ND PERIOD

15:32 MIN Charlie Coyle Hooking - 2 min against Alex Galchenyuk

The fourth line is broken. Without Travis Moen or Brandon Prust, Ryan White has been trying to do everything himself and making a ton of mistakes. They're now entering their sixth straight period without a single unblocked shot as a line, and unlike against Dallas where Carey Price bailed them out, they've allowed two goals tonight.

Josh Harding has been great, but the Canadiens have also beat him 4-5 times and either missed the net or hit the post/crossbar.

These kinds of games suck. Montreal is still holding the flow of play, but can't get a break.
