Canadiens vs Maple Leafs - Second Period Thread

The Habs are up 2-1 after one, but they're down Max Pacioretty.

14:19 TOR J. van Riemsdyk Holding - 2 min against P. Subban

After starting out shaky and taking a couple of bad penalties (well, not sure if the Eller one was actually a penalty, but moving on), the Habs seemed to wake up after going down 1-0.

In sharp contrast to the preseason, the EGG line of Lars Eller, Alex Galchenyuk, and Brendan Gallagher is absolutely on fire. Eller in particular is doing everything out there.

Carey Price also looks about as sharp as you could ever expect, stopping a ton of really awkward Toronto shots. The Habs aren't exactly dominating the possession game, but man is it ever entertaining. Have to give some credit to James Reimer as well, he's been solid.

Bad news? Colton Orr continued his job of injuring Habs players with an oddly placed hit on Max Pacioretty, and Max hasn't returned to the bench since. Without Max on the ice, Desharnais looks... not so hot.
