Plekanec has joined his hometown club along with his friend and owner of the team, Jaromir Jagr. The two have rekindled the chemistry they've shown in recent World Hockey Championships and dominated the league. Plekanec is currently 1st overall in scoring in the Extraliga.

Kaberle joins Plekanec in Kladno, the team he played for as a young hockey player, like Plekanec as well. Kladno is looking like a bit of a powerhouse in terms of talent, and in that situation Kaberle shouldn't have much trouble putting up points.

Pacioretty was convinced to join Ambri-Piotta by head coach Kevin Constantine, who sold him on bringing the team to the playoffs in the top Swiss league. He played his first game yesterday afternoon in a 3-2 shootout loss.

Diaz has rejoined EV Zug for a 9th season, not including 3 years for their under 20 team. Before joining the Montreal Canadiens last summer, Diaz was likely the best defenseman in the Swiss league, nearly hitting a point per game in 2010-11.

Because Weber came to Canada to play in the OHL as a prospect, he's actually never played in the top Swiss league until now. He joined his hometown team in Geneva to provide an offensive boost, and so far it seems to be working.

Emelin has rejoined his team of the 4 years previous to 2011-12, but he's yet to play a game.

Collberg is still struggling to establish himself in the Swedish Elite League, often getting very few minutes offensively. He did pick up his first career pro point though. Overall however, this year hasn't started out like he hoped.

Nygren was used extremely sparingly last season by Färjestads, but this year he's getting top pairing ice time. Aside from his 2 points in 6 games, he also put up 3 goals in 7 games for the European Trophy.

Nystrom doesn't seem to be a big goalscorer, but he's wracking up the assists for Modo's junior team. He hasn't managed to stick to the Elitserien yet, but as a 6th round pick there really isn't much pressure on him.

Pribyl's season so far makes no sense. He put up 2 goals in just 5 games in the European Trophy tournament, but he hasn't seen any game action in the regular season. Worse than that, Sparta Praha hasn't even sent him down to the minors, so he hasn't played since August 31st. This is a continuation of bizarre decisions when it comes to Pribyl, and I think he would be better off with Shawinigan in the QMJHL, who have his North American rights.

Engqvist is putting up surprisingly good numbers in the KHL after a similarly good preseason. He's unlikely to ever come back into the fold for the Habs, but we continue to own his rights until summer of 2015.

After a promising start where Trunev put up 3 points in 4 games, he's gone cold for 4 games. Trunev was once a very interesting prospect, but in his 5th season in the KHL, he's yet to establish himself as a point producer.

Habs fans were hoping for a great start to the season from Galchenyuk, but reality has set in that it's not so easy to be a star right away after missing so much time. Those watching Sarnia games have mentioned that he's been dominant but hasn't been getting puck luck, so hopefully that changes in the coming games.

After a solid breakout season leading up to last year's draft, the 4th round pick of the Habs is leading the Spitfires in scoring. Vail has not failed to register a point in any of his 4 games this season.

After a preseason that had a few scouts turning their heads and saying Archambault was a different player than last season and much improved, he's kind of fallen off to start the year. The QMJHL counts shot stats unlike the other two CHL leagues, so we can see than Archambault only has 4 shots in 3 games, not what you'd like to see from a 19 year old. However all 4 shots were deemed 'dangerous shots' which is the QMJHL's terminology for scoring chances. Perhaps Archambault is just being too choosey.

After being one of the better players on Team Canada in the 3 game junior level series against Russia, Hudon hasn't missed a beat. Averaging 5 shots per game, and 3 scoring chances per game, he leads his team offensively. He's tied for 4th overall in the QMJHL in points. Hudon missed the last Saguenéens game with a supposedly minor injury. It is legitimately shocking that the Canadiens were able to grab Hudon in the 5th round.

Dietz has gotten off to a bit of a slow start, as have the Blades overall, but after 3 games it's tough to rag on a defenseman with one point.

Thrower is in the same area as Dietz as production goes, but he's expected to put up a lot more scoring over the season and he plays on the top pairing with Duncan Siemens, who also has one assist in three games.

Bozon began his season in about as dramatic a fashion as you can imagine, scoring a hat trick that included an overtime game winner for the Blazers. He has twice the goals of any other teammate, and is yet to take a penalty in this young season.
