Game Thread: The Drive for Five as Habs visit Rangers

The Montreal Canadiens will look to extend the winning streak to five, as they visit the New York Rangers. The Rangers have won their last two games and sit at 5-3-3 on the season.

He's baaaaaack: After starting the season in the AHL, Sean Avery will make his season debut with the blueshirts.

"I love this team.I want to win. I want to play as hard as I possibly can and just try and contribute whenever I’m asked to. That’s what it comes down to." - Sean Avery

Henrik Lundqvist gets the start for the Rangers. A lack of scoring in front of him has him at 3-3-3. That aside he has a 2.18 GAA to go with a .932 Sv Pct. In his career against the Canadiens, his record hasn't been so great (11-8-2, 2.95, .896).

Jeff Woywitka, claimed off waivers from the Habs before the season started, scored his first goal of the season in the Rangers 2-1 win over Anaheim on Thursday.

Status quo for the Canadiens, meaning Carey Price will get the start in goal.
