Eyes on the Prize kicks off our Top 25 Under 25 countdown with Gabriel Dumont, who makes the final cut for the third straight year. The gritty defensive center made his NHL debut in 2011-12, and will look to build on that accomplishment in 2012-13.

The Canadiens have a deep prospect system, made deeper by an incredible draft in 2012. There were several names who didn't make the top 25 that could be household names in the future.

It's August, and therefore it is time for Eyes on the Prize to reveal our new Top 25 Under 25. Here we list the players that are under consideration, as well as introduce the panel that put this ranking together.

In our second preview of the 2012 edition of the EOTP Top 25 Under 25, we take a look at the three players who are now 25 years old that graduated from last year's ranking. The list includes the reigning 2010 and 2011 champion, goalie Carey Price.

It's August, which means we at Eyes on the Prize are focusing in on the Canadiens' top players under the age of 25. Before we start, we'll look at the players that were considered last year but have since left the team.
