Reviewing the Habs through October with the EOTP crew
It's official. Georges St. Pierre is Quebec's top Georges after defeating former NHL strong man Georges Laraque in a grappling competition Friday on a special edition of Off the Record with Michael Landsberg
Okay this is just getting ridiculous. Georges St. Pierre has gone full Rocky III as he will compete against former NHL hockey player, Georges Laraque, in an exhibition grappling match. Hopefully it ends with St. Pierre turning the tables on Laraque and pulling his jersey over his head before pummeling him to a pulp.
GSP to Have Grappling Match with Hockey Player
UFC welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre will face off against a fellow Montreal native, when he takes on 270-lb NHL enforcer Georges Laraque of the Montreal Canadiens in a grappling match at the Tristar Gym. The match will air on TSN's Off the Record this Friday. "First we will do a wrestling match, because he believes that he is going to be able to put me down at will, and I believe that I am going to be able to put him down at will," St-Pierre told TSN. "On the ice I would never go against him, he's going to beat me and I agree with that 100 percent, but on the floor I have no problem." HT: MMA Fighting Photo HT: Canada.com
