The Bulldogs are out east to play the St. John's Ice Caps.
Tonight, the Hamilton Bulldogs (5-6-1-1) are out on the rock to take on the St. John's Ice Caps (7-8-0-0), AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets. This will be the first of back to back games for the Bulldogs against St. John's, and first of 8 meetings between the two teams this year. All time, both teams have a 4-4-0-0 record against each other. Jets prospect Alex Burmistrov is tied for the team lead in points with 2 goals, 5 assists. The Ice Caps come into tonight's game on the heels of a 5-3 loss to the Albany Devils on Saturday night. The Bulldogs are coming into tonight's tilt after splitting a home and home series with the Marlies this weekend. Cedrick Desjardins is expected to make his second start of the season after winning his debut on Friday night 6-3.
