Gabriel Dumont has had a great start to the year despite playing on the 4th line - Bruce Bennett

The Bulldogs take on the Marlies in the second game of a home-and-home series.

The Bulldogs take on the Marlies tonight in the second game in a home-and-home series at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario. Last night, Robert Mayer stole the show as he stopped 39 of 40 shots and made some stellar saves to keep the Bulldogs in it early after the Marlies outshot the Bulldogs 16-6 in the first period.

Louis Leblanc had 2G, Patrick Holland notched his first professional goal as well as adding an assist, and Aaron Palushaj also had 1G, 1A. You can read more about last nights game in our game recap.

Tonight's Bulldogs lineup remains unchanged from last night.

The Marlies, however, have made some changes to their lineup:

Forwards

Ryan Hamilton - Keith Aucoin - Nicolas Deschamps
Leo Komarov - Joe Colborne - Mike Zigomanis
Nazem Kadri - Greg McKegg - Greg Scott
Carter Ashton - Will Acton - Kenny Ryan

Defensemen

Jake Gardiner - Mike Kostka
Mark Fraser - Korbinian Holzer
Dylan Yeo - Jesse Blacker

Goaltenders

Notable changes:

  • Kadri and Zigomanis both get demoted by a line. Kadri showed some frustration last night in being unable to solve Mayer.
  • Kenny Ryan draws into the Marlies lineup for the first time this year.
  • Jussi Rynnas gets his first start, and Mark Owuya backs up his first AHL game.

The game will broadcast live on Sportsnet One, as well as TVA Sports in Quebec. If you don't have Sportsnet, you can watch or listen to the Bulldogs take on the Marlies live tonight at 7pm EST through AHL Live here or listen on the radio here
