Habs Game Recaps

Misery in Missouri

The Montreal Canadiens travelled to Missouri last night to take on the Blues. Don't quote me on that, because it just may have been an ECHL squad that bears a striking similarity to the current edition of the Habs. Let's just say it got ugly.

The beginning of a turnaround?

With the Canadiens getting their behinds handed to them once again by a bad team, Michel Therrien finally made a defensive adjustment, and it paid off.

Therrien brasse la soupe en défensive, enfin. Reste à voir si ça va tenir.

Canadiens-Panthers: analyse et chances de marquer

Mauvaise soirée pour un alignement à réorganiser.

Excuses & embarrassment

After an encouraging game against Long Island, all the positive feeling was undone in one fell swoop of uninterested garbage play.

Are you not entertained?

After a brutal stretch of being outplayed constantly, the Canadiens put up a solid showing in Long Island that would have looked great with a little finish.

Canadiens-Islanders: analyse et chances de marquer

Les choses se replacent tranquillement, notamment pour Emelin et Gorges.

Something is rotten, but not in Denmark

It doesn't look like it in the end, but the Habs got thumped in Philadelphia, and it was ugly.

Mauvaise deuxième période, certains problèmes persistent.

A blowout that looked worse than it was

In a game that most people who paid close attention to the recent winning streak were expecting, Montreal was blown out by Los Angeles, but was it really as bad a performance as it looked?
