Canadiens vs Lightning 2014 playoffs game 4 game thread

Habs look to put away the Bolts for good in Game 4 at the Bell Centre

I like Tom Pyatt, I like Ryan Callahan, I like J.T. Brown,  I even like Steven Stamkos, but I really want them to be out of the playoffs. The sooner the better and tonight (at approximately 9:30 PM) is the soonest any team can be bounced from the playoffs.

I'm sure Alex Killorn is a great guy. And Mark Barberio played for the Screaming Eagles, so that has to count for something, but the longer they are around, the worse it gets for Montreal. And we can't have that.

We don't want to see a Game 6 with the Bolts getting a boost from the return of Ben Bishop. He's already starting skating and taking shots. He's not ready for Game 4, but a Game 6 appearance is possible. But let's hope it isn't likely.

Jon Cooper is an entertaining and engaging coach and I'd love to see and hear more sound bites from him, but let it be from the broadcast booth or at the Cheetos Oreos General Motor Maroon 5 CBC i-Desk and not behind the bench.

Anyway ... line-up wise nothing changes for Montreal. Travis Moen moves closer to a return, but it certainly won't be tonight. Tampa Bay would appear to go with the same line-up as Game 3. Stamkos comes back for the Bolts. He faced a lot of criticism from fans wondering why he'd risk greater injury coming back in the third period of Game 3. I have no idea what the extent of the injury/risk was, I can see why Stamkos returned - the game was winnable, he's the team's captain and best player, and there was no way they were winning without Stamkos. 2-1 is a tough series to get back into, but at least you have a chance. 3-0 is a series that takes a miracle to win. Regardless, Stamkos is back tonight and let's hope all protocols were followed. Cooper has been known to pull a bait and switch with lines in practice and there's a chance one or both of Crombeen and Pyatt could be watching from the stands tonight. (Update: Tom Pyatt is  scratched as the Bolts go with 11 forwards and 7 d). Salo and Gudas are out for the Lightning, with Kostka drawing back in.
