Place your bets on the Habs and Sens now, they're ranked lower than the Leafs

We hated them last year, but we could make some money off the Sens this year. - Jana Chytilova/Freestyle Photo

Betting company Bovada has released some numbers for us to digest, and they're kind of hilarious.

Being part of SB Nation, I get emails once in awhile from sports betting companies with odds. I never really talk about it because I'm not a gambler and I don't like shilling for anyone, but their latest email gives Habs fans a serious opportunity to make money, while providing some schadenfreude along the way.

Here are the betting odds for Bovada currently:

What does this mean exactly? Well it means that you can make a whole heck of a lot of money if you bet that the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to miss the playoffs (they will), and you can make a lot if you bet that the Montreal Canadiens will register 95 or more points, or that the Ottawa Senators will register more than 94. Considering how strong the Habs and Sens are, and how weak the bottom four teams in the division are, these aren't super risky bets.

I don't want to tell you how to spend your money, but these guys are really begging for a huge number of bets against Toronto, and a lot of money into your pockets.
