P.K. Subban came into the NHL with a lot of criticism for various reasons, some valid and some possibly something else. What's happened since though is nothing short of spectacular. The reigning Norris Trophy winner, the first for the Montreal Canadiens since Chris Chelios, has taken over the city of Montreal. What do I mean by that? Check out this article by the Montreal Gazette's Brenda Branswell. There's nothing really special about that article, except for the following line:

Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is also invited to the four-day camp

Carey Price also invited.

Price has been the face of the Canadiens essentially since he was a rookie in the 2007-08 season, but that's not really the case anymore. Carey Price is now an "also", Subban is the star. Does it really mean that much in the grand scheme of things? Probably not, but it's very interesting to see how things shift. Subban, and not Price, is who sells papers these days.
