38 year old Saku Koivu is still getting it done. One of 4 positive possession players for the Ducks in this series, Koivu has taken tough competition and extreme defensive zone starts and still managed 3 points in 6 games. It's basically impossible to not cheer for the guy unless you have no heart.
On the other side though, are the aging Detroit Red Wings, in their last Western Conference playoffs. The dynasty of the Red Wings essentially ended with the retirement of Nicklas Lidstrom, but they still have guys like Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg to make people get up and cheer.
It's winner take all in the best thing hockey has to offer, a Game 7. Dare we hope for overtime?
