Our late game of the night, as perhaps the most even matchup of the playoffs begins.
Yesterday we had Josh Harding being the unlikely starter for Minnesota, and tonight we have Roberto Luongo being the unlikely starter for the Vancouver Canucks.
It's an interesting dynamic as the Canucks absolutely left Luongo out to dry in their last game of the year, leaving him in net for 7 goals against by the putrid Oilers.
On the other side, the Sharks boast playoff scoring machine Scott Gomez, who's leadership and presence in the locker room are clearly what got San Jose into the playoffs.
Hopefully this one isn't as disappointing as the result from the two earlier games.
