After being named to Team Canada's roster for the 2013 World Junior Hockey Championships, Charles Hudon was sidelined with an injury and had to pull himself off the team.
Not letting the injury set him back, Hudon went on to have a career year with Chicoutimi in the QMJHL and has now joined the Hamilton Bulldogs.
The youngest player in the AHL, Hudon's first professional point was a game winning goal in the dying minutes for the 'Dogs. In 6 games played, he's also added an assist for 2 points. Most impressively though, since joining the Bulldogs, Hudon has lead the team in shots on goal with 17. Not bad for a prospect who will be 18 until June 23rd.
The lowly Bulldogs are already eliminated from post season contention and have lost 4 straight games. They close out their season this weekend with 3 games in 3 nights.
