The Canadiens carried the play for about 14 straight minutes against the Sabres, but after Gallagher took a double minor, the Sabres seemed to wake up and ended up bringing the shot attempts near even at 20-19 for the Habs.
Tomas Plekanec opened the scoring off of a nice feed by Rene Bourque, but the Sabres tied it up just 15 seconds later on a bit of a weak goal allowed by Peter Budaj.
Kinda of a snoozer so far, so hopefully the pace picks up in the second period.
