Wednesday Habs Links - P.K. for Sochi debate continues

Jean-Yves Ahern-USA TODAY Sports

We're getting ready for a Habs/Devils rematch tonight and still want to talk P.K./Sochi and female hockey blogging

Montreal Canadiens News

The P.K. Subban for Sochi debate, which is filed under "Obvious things that should not be debated" continues at TSN.ca. Should P.K. be named to Team Canada? Should bunnies be soft? Should there be bigger parking lots at Costco? Should everybody return their buggies to the the designated area instead of leaving them in parking spots? (Sorry I just got back from Costco.) YES.

Tough guy and our friend George Parros and his amazing, formidable 'stache raised an NHL-leading $8,739 for the Movember prostate cancer awareness movement. Plus he fought Orr on Saturday. Plus he almost assisted on a goal too. Plus he had a full moustache on day like, three, after shaving.

Oh yes - and the Habs have another game tonight against the New Jersey Devils, this time in New Jersey.

Other news around the NHL

Sharknado! I'm certain I'm the first person ever to use this as a lead in to a Sharks story. The Sharks did God's work on Tuesday night and handed the Maple Leafs their fifth-straight loss.

Rogers owns everything. Okay just Edmonton. For NOW.

Pride of Eyes on the Prize

Our very own Laura Saba, otherwise known as @theactivestick, took part in an awesome piece on Puck Daddy yesterday on sexism and hockey blogging. We all know how awesome she is, and now people in the world in general do, too.
