Half a period later, Gally and Gally combined to give young Brendan Gallagher his first career NHL goal.
It was pretty clear domination of an undefeated team, without the Canadiens two best possession players out of the lineup.
What a period! Shot attempts were 26-14 for the Canadiens in the first period, a great start against a supposedly strong opponent!
