So how long and how much will P.K. Subban's contract be with the Montreal Canadiens? With Carey Price sewn up for six years, Subban is the last crucial free agent signing for Marc Bergevin to address.

Dave Stubbs tweeted Saturday that negotiations are ongoing between the Habs and the Restricted Free Agent. Eric Engels soon replied that he heard the deal is potentially for six years. Stubbs quickly responded that his source says it would not be six years. The Montreal Gazette columnist offered the suggestion that Subban has a few more maturing years, which would put him in better position for a term deal as a UFA.

Prediction: The deal is done by this Friday.
